Who We Are
We love Jaffna. Three generations of our family lived in Uduvil. Like many people, we immigrated to the US in 1989. We are currently settled in Texas, which is known as the "Lone Star State." Thus, this home is called the Lone Star Residence. It was built as a personal getaway for our family, and comfort and safety were prioritized.
When not occupied, we like to offer the house to guests who travel to Jaffna and value comfort. The house has four high-efficiency AC units, which combined give the feeling of having a central AC system. Jaffna can get extremely hot in certain months, so a comfortable and reliable AC system is paramount to enjoying the stay. We also have five beds with high-end pillowtop mattresses. All sheets and pillows are made of hyper-alginic cotton.
We also have a washer and dryer for the convenience of long-term guests. We hope you enjoy your stay with us. If there is anything we can improve, please let us know. We are constantly striving to earn a 5-star rating from our guests.
